How do I use my handmedown cricut on my computer?
I inherited an original cricut and I am attempting to use the cricut craft room, however it does not recognize my cricut. I only have the machine and the two cartridges but no software or anything. I have it connected to my computer via a usb cable. Also, I am using a mac. Any advice?

I have logged into the Cricut craft room a couple of times but have not tried to send anything to my machine. I don't think that having a Mac has anything to do with it, but if you purchase the software make sure you purchase the Mac version (if there is an option for Mac). I believe your issues is that you do not have Design Studio software installed on your computer. Also, with Design Studio and the Cricut craft room, you can "see" all of the cartridges but you can actually only cut with the cartridges you own. So, if you own two cartridges, you'll only be able to cut something from one of those two cartridges.
