Joining die cut papers and letters to a round ornament?
I cut a five-letter name on my Cricut. It is 2 "tall and 4 inches long. I tried countless types of wet and dry adhesives, but can not do and the edges of the script trim flat on my round. Arrggh. All ideas that are environmentally budget? I've tried so far: Rubber Cement Spray Adhesive Mount memory Xyron Sticker Machine (permanent) pilot Herma Dotto (permanent) Help glue stick! Thanks for taking the time to respond. I found two solutions: dishes vinyl lettering and decorations. Thanks again to my colleagues Yahooligans! frustration Goodbye! Wow! Received an email from a craftsman man who had a brilliant idea! She suggested that the cut in between damp paper towels, are formed around the ball and let dry curves! Genius!
The answer is that it will not. Unless you have an ornament that is huge - the area needed in an area to throw something the size of dish will not fit on a regular Christmas tree. The only help is to make small cuts in the edges to help dish. To make this type of cut require the sharpness of a razor blade. It also suggests you cut each letter separately so that all can be formed around the surface of the ball but will not be the way we hope. Try to do the impossible and if you re-cut this in a tensile material such as vinyl - it will fail. This is not a problem of wrong type of the tail, but used the wrong type of material and failure in engineering - understanding the properties of folding a flat object.
